My name is Steve Allen. I joined Pentagon Associates Ltd in January 1993 and became the Managing Director of the business in 2000. I graduated from Seale Hayne with an HND in Agriculture and returned to complete a Post Grad Diploma in Agricultural Business Management. I have a background in dairy farming and gained experience in beef, sheep and arable farming. I am registered as a mentor with Farming Connect. I’m married to Sylvie and have 3 young children and 1 step-son. I enjoy spending time with my family and being in the outdoors. I also enjoy cooking and am partial to a glass of red wine or two!
Hi, I’m Liz King and I started work at Pentagon Associates Ltd in June 2015, as a Trainee Agricultural Consultant. I graduated from Aberystwyth University in 2015, with a BA (Hons) In Human Geography with Business management. I grew up on a mixed Sheep and Beef farm in Somerset; although it is also home to Pigs, Chickens and our seasonal friends the Turkeys. I have taken part in a range of in Young Farmers activities and owe them some truly memorable experiences. I’ve always enjoyed spending my weekends on the farm and relish opportunity to be around livestock of any description, but dogs and cows are my firm favourites. Since moving to Narberth most of my spare time is spent outdoors exploring the stunning Pembrokeshire beaches.
My name is Paul Lloyd and I am a member of the book-keeping team, looking after a number of clients across Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire. I have recently joined Pentagon Associates having worked at Pembrokeshire Business Initiative for 28 years. I graduated with a BSc (Hons) from The Open University. I have an extensive financial background and qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 2001. I have lived in Pembrokeshire all my life and my hobbies include keeping fit, gardening and reading.
Hi, I’m Karen Crocker and I’m the secretary at Pentagon Associates Ltd. I worked for 27 years with South Wales Police in various admin roles in finance, customer services, facilities and HR and in 2002 was promoted to General Manager Cardiff Basic Command Unit. In 2008 I relocated to Pembrokeshire with my family initially undertaking agency work for Murco Oil Refinery as Operations Secretary. In 2010 I joined the Team at Pentagon working part-time as Secretary providing secretarial and administrational support for the office. I also undertake payroll and book keeping services for Pentagon and other clients. A lot of my spare time is spent on my small-holding where I enjoy gardening; I also adopted an ex-race horse and have quite a few geese, ducks and chickens to look after. Living in Pembrokeshire I enjoy nothing better than taking my three dogs to many of the beautiful beaches in the county.
Hi, my name is Jenny Webb, before joining Pentagon Associates I worked for Barclays Bank for 30 years starting as a cashier then became an assistant to the Agricultural Manager before being promoted to Branch Manager in various branches across Cardigan and Pembrokeshire. I began working for Pentagon Associates in September 2016 as a member of the book keeping team. I am married to Dai, we live in Narberth with our three children Tomos, Jac and Alys. I spend many hours of my spare time at various swimming pools across Wales and Britain supporting my children who are competitive swimmers. I also enjoy cooking and gardening.
I’m Megan Phillips and I have been working for Pentagon Associates Ltd since September 2019. I graduated from Aberystwyth University in July 2019 with a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture with Business Studies. I was awarded the Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society Student Bursary Award in 2018. I have lived in North Pembrokeshire all my life and I have received all my education through the medium of Welsh along with studying some modules in Welsh in University. I am a member of Hermon Young Farmers Club and enjoy competing in various competitions especially the annual entertainment competition and the Eisteddfod.
